Thanks for all the support , picked up the bike on Sunday morning 25o km round trip , handed over the cash , didnt even start it up on the trailer and home , droped the bike at me mates house , key in stand up and the greatest buzz ive ever had , off the bike into the car and home , shaking almost sick with the buzz. Ive never driven a bigger cc than 125 and the problem now is there isnt going to be enough road in ireland for me to ride . That feeling of take off , shaking and just not being able to keep up with the bike man , the force is powerful and I think ive crossed over to the darkside. Good Lord what a bike.

I love the feeling of a new bike. As Kymmy says take it easy out there. I have always changed my bike in the winter, not deliberately just happened that way. Went from a 500 cc starter bike to a 1000cc Buell in November - those slick tyres were a laugh in the ice
