Can't see me getting the Vara up those steps though!

That banked wooden curve looks like wicked fun though! Whole thing looks like a Playstation Game!

    Re: Hardcore...

This was on one of the sports channels a couple of months back - i think its an annual event.

The mountain sections looked TOUGH - way out of my ability league!! thats for sure. The "urban" sections were very entertaining - blasting through half demolished factories and the like, up and down stairs etc - well cool !!

And dominated (AS USUAL !!) by KTM. Tough bikes or what ??? guys dropping them end-over-end down the side of a mountain, for a couple of hundred feet , then slithering down after them , pick it up, thumb the starter and ride on !!!!!!!

Respect for the bikes and the riders.
    2011 Triumph Tiger 800 - "Black Pussy" - MMMM Nice !!!
    2000 Suzuki DRZ400S - "Ol' Yella" - very bright
    2011 Peugeot V-Clic 50cc - "Scoot" - It's my wife's, an enjoyable ride.

    I have a house , but I can't guarantee it's safe !!

    Re: Hardcore...

Most of this stuff looks like experienced trial riders (as opposed to trail riders) could do it with two fingers up their nose and smile for the camera at the same time.

I couldn't do it to save my life, that's for sure!

    Re: Hardcore...

I agree it'd be a lot easier on a non-Enduro bike, some sort of highly geared trials bike (with seat!) would make it a lot easier. Way out of my league though.

    Re: Hardcore...

The BMW 1200GS would be perfect for this.. it is so big and heavy that it would just push though (not over) all the obstacles.. including the walls of the factories..
    ...

did i mention way way way out of my league
