Look very very very very carefully at 10 second mark - when the biker swings from lane 2 to lane 1. Did he leave the car driver enough room to accommodate - also look at the posture of the rider immediatley before impact - is he brakeing heavy??????? about to pull over to the hard shoulder, not aware of what's happening behind him???

    Motorcyclist's fault.

In the clip I saw of this last year (which lasted longer), he was up and walking around a few seconds after coming off.

1 Varadero/17,000 miles ridden (of 40,000 miles on the bike), it's all still new to me!

I must have a different video view or something because in mine, he enters the viewfinder already in the inside lane... I'd still put my money on the car driver not looking forward but looking at the Police vehicle - we can't see that on the vid though so it is supposition...

Re: Who was in the wrong here?

The motorcyclist at 11 seconds comes into the frame at an angle and proceeds to move across the path of the vehicle in lane one, from right to left - to me he also looks like hes braking heavy - possibly to pull onto the hard shoulder: to me, it looks like he swept from lane 2 to lane 1 without looking properly - he is definately on the white line when he enters the picture and moves across the path of the car - but like you said - supposition - main thing is if I remember correctly noone was seriously injured and the biker was all but unscathed.

I used to ride that road every weekend for about 2 years on my way from London to Plymouth.

Can anyone explain how the first 200 miles took no time at all (I used to just pull away from Bethnal Green in London and ride straight past Stonehenge about 10 minutes later), but Exeter to Plymouth took about 8 hours and seemed to be about 400 miles.

    Full video is here

We have discussed this one before and everyone blamed the bike as you can clearly see by the angle that he's moving from right to left.
