I can't remember many details about the GS, other than it's W-reg, is apparently very clean and cared for and has various Touratech bits and bobs on it. The guy that owns it has treated it with kid gloves, regularly serviced it and has recently put two new tyres on it.

I was hoping to trade my Dominator in for it, but his wife doesn't reckon he needs two bikes and she bought his other bike (an ex-Gendarmerie 1960s BMW) for him, so he's not allowed to sell that.

The GS has been SORNed in his garage (in Nottingham) for the last few months.

Glad to hear you got sandy-side OK fella. Again, if you need anything posting out via stores troop let me know and I'll get it to ya - it'll have either XRV or 750 in the IV number . Our lot are all back now, so no-one for you to say Hi to, just keep your head down, take plenty of photos and see ya Apr/May next year. Merry as possible chrimbo and a safe new-year.
