Hi, yes, I do mean the 640 Adventure instead of the enduro stuff..

I rode with one from Stansted to Peterborough show ground (He had no trouble keeping up on the motorway) and then had a ride of it around the county showground. I really liked it, although both of my feet didn't touch the floor at the same time. It had a seat especially to make it higher for the owner because he was so tall though.
3 Africa Twins/280,000 miles. If it's happened to one of mine, it's gonna happen to one of yours.....eventually.
1 Varadero/17,000 miles ridden (of 40,000 miles on the bike), it's all still new to me!
Very tall , a bit vibey , but as a totally focused overland adventure bike it's right on the money - massive tank range, light , works well at overland/gravel road speeds and built to take the tough stuff.
If I was going to do a Ewan and Charley - it would be my choice.
But not my choice for an everyday ride.

Test rode one a couple of years ago, loved it and wanted it, KTM dealer didn't offer much for the Transalp so didn't bother.
Get a test ride, after the bulk of the AT it will feel like a works motocrosser.
