It hit me yesterday,
I woke up with a banging headache and then just couldn't keep anything down, not even simple bread or water. Not good when I'm still recovering from this op. Wasn't until 10pm that I managed to have a little to eat. I just hope that poor Jen doesn't get it from me.
If anyone else has it then you have my commiserations.

I have spent the past 2 weeks in meeting with infection control about this as one of my wards have been really heavily hit - both patients and staff.
It's really nasty Kymmy especially after what you have just been through. Make sure you keep sipping water otherwise you will get really dehydrated, if you are no better in a couple of days go to your GP.

It's a lot better now and yes I have been keeping myself well hydrated. I warned Jen not to get too close to her mother this morning just in case she's got it from me as I'm sure that as it really hammered me it would be quite severe to someone 60+

Heard a warning on the radio this morning saying if you get it, stay at home as going to the doctor will simply infect everyone at the surgery.
Not hit us yet but my son with the broken arm is the only one in our house not have the cold thingy. Molly's has one again mutated overnight into a double ear infection so she is now on antibiotics with both ears bleeding, hoping to goodness it clears up in time for her ENT operation on 17th Jan.
