helloo just an interesting point a mate of mine got a GSA1200 panzer tank with one month left on warranty the bike decided to drop a valve at 60mph.
first replies for the father land the valve has smashed hole in piston,damaged head, oil filled cat. BM have said they will only replace damaged parts the engine has not done 14000 serviced at 12000 warranty work on back end and engine at 13000.I have erged him to demand a new engine because of FOD inside crank case and also new cat and new 2 yrs warranty on parts fitted. do you think this is enough?

Tell him to push hard too, and get a solicitor to look into it.

Seriously !!, you'd be amazed at how many people just give in to this sort of nonsense from dealers. the bike is under warranty. GGGGrrrrrrrrrrrr, go get em tiger.

contact trading standards immediately as a warranty is a contract or condition of sale, do it before the warranty runs out.

i had a BM and it ate money as quick as petrol i just cant understand how they get a reputation for reliability and good service as my BM was one of the most unreliable bikes i have ever owned in over 30 years of riding.

my dealer would refuse to replace replaced parts that failed again in just a couple of months ! It became a unpleasant experience to visit my BMW dealer in the end as i never came away satisfied but like 100's of disgruntled BM owner's find for some reason the Motorcycle Media appear scared to say anything bad about BMW's ? could be the thousands they spend on advertising or am i being cynical??
