Book Auction to raise funds for The Longest Day Ride

The incredible Lois Pryce of loisontheloose fame has agreed to donate a signed copy of her new book Red Tape and White Knuckles, out on June 5th, to help raise funds for the The Longest Day Ride. She wishes all the riders every success and hope we hit our target of £5000. She said she's more than pleased to help us out.



We will auction the book off to the highest bidder and Lois will then sign the book with a personal message for the winner.

I need to defer to the organising committee to see how we will handle the auction - maybe a thread of its own with just the bids entered.

I just wanted to get the word out so you can bear it in mind. Another great way to support the longest day ride and you get a signed copy of what will be a thrilling motorcycle adventuring read.

Lois said the book goes live on the 5th of June - she will have a few copies a couple of days before that - I've got to email her again on the 1st of june with the details - Sooooooo - closing date for last bid 31st May?? That gives me a few days to get the details to her with address of winner etc. What do you think?
