I know a lot has been written about wearing ear plugs, and some people don't "like" them. We live in a free country and it's your choice, but please read this first:

Even in a helmet most riders would consider “quiet”, around 100 decibels (dB) of wind noise battering your ears at 70mph. Experts believe just 15 minutes of this is like working an eight-hour shift in a factory generating 85dB of noise – a level experts consider to be right at the threshold of hearing damage. And that’s in a quiet lid at just 70mph. Louder lids – and we’ve measured some at 116dB at 70mph, four times louder than a pneumatic drill – mean you’re into genuine hearing-loss territory.
