Longest Day sceen bodge???

Having spectacularly failed to fit my nice twin lights screen to work with the big tank, and broken it into the bargin, (not that I had the watts to light both loghts anyway!) I've bodged up a deflector screen for the Longest Day!

Yet to be test riden:

Any advice for a better bodge/cheap screen welcome!

Sweetie, now that's not going to do your aerodynamics any good at all is it. A decent headwind and you'll be going backwards.

how did you manage to brake the simpson de tour??? mine was bullet proof I dont know what i can suggest.. but i have access to some pva plastic sheets, I am sure we (as in the site) could come up with something.. I am working on anubis all day sunday if ypu want to come up?

After a test ride:

The theory works, comfort cruising is up about 15km/h, takes all the blast off the chest, not too much windblast round the head either.

It is, as noted, not exactly pretty.

On the simpson-detour, the main plastic is fine, but one of the mountings has snapped, the bolt in the otherside has fallen out. Main issue is it's too wide to fit within the "wings" of the tank, unless it is mounted far to high, up near/above the bars!!

Some decent, cut to shape plastic may be better, but I've no idea if I could shape it in any useful way!!
