    Rangers animals

Animals? Possibly a description that's too good for them:

Amazing restraint showed by the Police.

Lost for words, and that in connection with sport, I hope the copper on duty has a speedy recovery and remembers a few faces, it will probably be the same ones who ring in a few weeks crying that they have been robbed,

There will be many decent Rangers fans (and Glaswegians) who feel ashamed by association with these "people" (for want of a better word). I hope as a Cardiffian I won't be ashamed of Bluebirds fans later today!

Known to the rest of Scotland unaffectionately as "The Huns", a few of the Rangers FC fans have managed to disgrace our country again. I'm sorry for that.
However, I also think that Manchester police were fairly unprepared for what they faced. A few advance phone calls to Glasgow Plod or other forces within Scotland, may have produced a more realistic picture of "what they were about to receive" and counter measures that have to be taken to deal with this slime. Kinda seems like they were caught with their trousers down to me.
North of the border forces, especially Glasgow, don't put up with this type of behaviour, zero tolerance etc etc. Maybe alcohol shouldn't have been so easily available too, but it's easy to say that in retrospect.
    Sorry again.

Sorry, but I spent a lot of time as a kid down that way.

My old man was team doctor for Cardiff City FC in the late fifties to mid '60s, in the days when John Toshack was an on an 'S' form and the brothers Charles (Ray & Mel) used to play for the club!

there is something about mob rule thats always interesting... Many people see the police as the police see them... not as human beings.. more along the lines of irritating animals...
