    3 weeks to fill ?

As of the 25 Aug I have 3 weeks of work, The 11-14 Sept is the "National" so that is set in stone. But that leaves me 17 days to fill.

So, have bike/tent and no responsibilities, where do I head for , Europe is the choice, but where to head for is a problem.

    Open to suggestions bretheren..

How about a tour around the UK coast ending up at the National?

Good suggestions so far, but I have just seen Meljordans RR for CZ and quite like the idea of Poland / Czech side of things. .

The Alps and the Pyrennes both have a lot to offer too. Rhine Valley etc.
    bugger.

Re: 3 weeks to fill ?

I'm off for 3 and a half weeks (from 11th Sep to 5th Oct), doing the National, then a week at the parent's in Yeovil, then heading to France around the 19th/20th on my tod for the first week, then a mate is joining me for the 2nd week (27th to 5th) on his Monster, all being well.

I'm thinking of meandering down via the Ns and Ds towards the Massif Central (probably on the Pompey-Le Havre LD Lines ferry) for a week, then once I meet my mate the latest plan is to head towards San Sebastien and do some of the Pyrenees.

Why don't you jump on a ferry to the furthest corner of Europe and then take your time riding back via any route that takes your fance on the day.

Or take a trip up to see the NORTHERN LIGHTS

As Vader says, a run down through Germany, good roads & mucho beautiful countryside, spend a while in the Alps then head to the Dolomites.

The Dolomites cannot be beaten IMHO .

If you fancy an 'adventure' try Albania......
