Took an "old lass" out for a spin this afternoon!

Jeez it was boiling too, 35 deg C in the saddle at about 150kph (Yep, I'm now an "official nerd" with a watch that tells direction travelling, altitude and air temp!). It's the first time in 2 1/2 years since I owned her, I've put her through the "150 barrier" and man it felt great! Managed to do my longest run 100kms+ since the operation, but had to stand the last few kms out and back, as the old bum was getting abit painful.
(It'll be my last ride again for a while, as I'm off back to Bangkok for the first set of post operative tests on Thursday morning).
Blue skies, coconut and banana trees everywhere, not a car on the road, life is good!
Even managed to get a 2 second blast on the Stiebel Nautilus after a cager tried to test the strength of my underwear by overtaking on my side of the road, through a blind corner. Awesome!
Catch you all later this week.

Looking good on the tests yesterday in Bangkok, PSA down to almost zero! Still have inflammation somewhere(WBC still up), which accounts for the continued but decreasing pain, but will get the last test culture results back on Monday afternoon and they'll be able to fight it effectively. Had another stomach injection yesterday too, ouch they hurt, only another 7 to go/ (quarterly for 2 years)!
Company have been great, offered me a job in the office here for 5 weeks, with a bonus thrown in and a free apartment, while I get better.
Hopefully, I'll get back to to the Philippines by 3rd week July, in time to meet the new bike. I'm planning to take a trip up to Baguio in the central mountains, then adventuring up the northern coast of Luzon, the main island. Should be back to Manila in time for the 1000km service, then will drive it home (3 ferries, 4 islands, in 2-3 days).
    Roll on July!

Good to hear that things are going in the right direction
Just make sure you always got spare Fuel with you when you go out on your new bike. These KTM's seem to have a very limited fuel range

I listen to what the rice crispies tell me to do

Thanks and good point, the side cases each have 3 litre water containers inbuilt apparently, maybe they could hold extra petrol, will ask....!
