Seriously though a neck brace will cause problems with the head bouncing side to side and will probably cause more damage than good.

Can I suggest just a bit of thick foam round your neck not to brace the head but more to act like a shock absorber between shoulders and helmet

Google neck exercises J...Then pick some most suited....I know a lot of racing drivers do them.

I bet if you thought about it you already know plenty from martial arts exercises....The Judo / Ju-Jitsu fellas use quite a lot..

You already knew that though.... .

    Re: neck problem

From what Kymmy said, I use a foam pad that velcrows round my neck, supports lid in all sorts of movements, rode 200 mile today without and really can feel it!!

It could just be a XR650R issue though!!
