My missus did her CBT in the summer and finally she now got her 1st bike, a 2006 Honda CG125.
So this afternoon we went for a tootle, i expected her to ride slow since this was the 1st time out since 5 hours CBT back in June. So in true 'instructor style' i rode trying to watch her back, and stop her being as vunerable.
Now she had the L plates and Hi-vis jacket on, and this just gave every moron car driver a ticket to try to kill us, almost pushing into the kerb, on 3 seperate occaisions i was nearly knocked off by drivers passing us round blind bends even though we were both in the correct road position and actually doing the speed limits.
On one occaision, we pulled up at the lights beside one dick head who forced his way past a few seconds earlier, when i aggresivly peered into his passenger window he went all shy and darn't look at me, i was really mad, not only for doing what he did to me, but for the total disrepect for my wife - i got all over protective !
Im simply amazed how drivers treat learner motorcycles and its scared me knowing my missus will be out there alone (eventually)........It's not fazed her at all which is the best way really.
