    Does anyone remember.....

A weekly published series of magazines called Road Bike.
I have just found my collection, they have tech data roadcraft and profiles of the modern bikes of the time, like the Honda GL1000 Gold Wing and the Suzuki
    GS250.

    Yup.

I`ve got one or two amongst my 'assorted' bike mag section.

There`s one with a road test of the Yamaha SR500 single.

One of my favourite parts of going to the 59 club in Hackney, was going through their magazine collection. They had millions of the things going back to the 60s. Best bits were the adverts for aerofoil helmets to help you reach the ton and the huge amount of stuff for sale just to keep your bike running and the light on most of the time (ahhh, Brtish bikes of old).

Lucas, Prince of darkness was a term bandied about.
3 Africa Twins/280,000 miles. If it's happened to one of mine, it's gonna happen to one of yours.....eventually.

1 Varadero/17,000 miles ridden (of 40,000 miles on the bike), it's all still new to me!

Yep, still got my set now and then I pick one up and look at the bikes I used to own and think, now why the hell did I get rid of that, A lot of useful stuff still relevant today.

That is where I got the info I used in another post about the fuse rating and how to work it out.
