Thanks for the kick up the proverbial PD. Sadly just checked and despite being clear from an earlier illness for nine years I still cannot give blood

But if you can, please do ! Better we have the system that we do than for example as was told to me about Israel. You cannot have an operation that requires transfusions unless you bring the equivalent number of donors to replace the blood.

Or maybe we should ??
