Re: My queen was stolen last night - after 4 days of owning her

A rather large norwegian newspaper interviewed me and ran a story about the recent bike thefts in Trondheim: Fikk drømmesykkelen stjålet etter to dager - adressa.no

My mom also sent me some pictures she took while I visited to show her my new bike. I really liked this one:

    Man I miss my queen

Surely this bike would stick out if it were being used on the road?
    It is very distinctive .
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE

There's a bit of damage to it (ignition, screen) and the copper says I probably wont be able to ride it home. Going to cost me £150 to get it back from the recovery yard. I wonder if I'll be able to recover my costs from the scrotebags. A few good beatings should do it.

    Stolen from bradford

Sad news relating to my SLR:

Some scrote decided it was worth pinching and forced the gates. Managed to get the lock/chain of and it was wheeled away.
    Bright yellow SLR 650 P234DCK
Heated grips, new rear Distenza tyre.
12V Power take off mounted in nearside side panel (for charging battery whilst stored in garage).
Top box plate mounted on top of original purple Honda Top box mount.
    Yellow Knuckle Guards to handlebars.
Second Security chain (which was used when I got to work) is wrapped across seat from either side of passenger grab rail.

Looking to replace with another 650 SLR as I was so happy with this one. (Or alternative reliable 650 Trail type ride - preferably another bombproof Honda)

(Moderator, iif there is a STOLEN Thread, could you move this in as I couldn't find one)

I would so love that opportunity to give the scrotebags an "educational lesson".

Hope it's not to bad and you get it back on the road.
I still keep my fingers crossed for mine.
