I would like to apologise in advance...

..for any offence I may cause over the next few weeks.

Tomorrow morning is my quit date (again ) for giving up smoking.

It's not going to be pretty.

    You have been warned.

The best you can do is think of other things.

Good luck, the first month is the worse.

Well done, and good luck - really must get on that wagon myself. Any special reasons beyond the usual 'you'll live longer' argument? Out of (related) interest, how many a day are you coming off? Give us a yell when you're finding it tough.

That is wrong, it just seems longer.

Well done Tom Good luck, keep meaning to give it a try but I just love the smell of my baccy, bugger. Then I think ( you see Jade Big Gob Goody dying today, poor girl no matter what you think of her didnt deserve that at 27 like so many others who are young and sometimes my mindset is) **** it might as well ave a fag.
But in reality you are doin the right thing by givin up and I will salute you if you get off this addictive drug.

Good luck - every time you want a fag, just imagine sucking on a hose pipe linked to a car exhaust - seems to work for me (after reading spome leaflets about the nasties in ciggies)

Ive been stopped for 4 weeks now (slightly cheating, as i'm on patches - but i'm not breathing in all the crap now )

Was smoking minimum 20 a day for the last 20 years (how many bikes would that have bought me ? )

    I feel better already

How about you can breathe easily, you don't hack your guts out every time you do something really physical, you have a lot more energy, you don't get a horrific cough at the drop of a hat, it saves you a lot of money, you feel really good about yourself because you're not doing something that you know deep down is really bad for you, you don't smell horrid anymore, and you'll be far nicer to kiss for someone who doesn't smoke!!!

I stopped about 4 years ago and it's the best thing I've ever done for myself.
And it was painless and incredibly easy. I thought I'd never be able to stop but I really wanted to.
I saw a hypnotherapist and just never smoked again, it was effortless and I know a few people who've had great success with him. So if anyone wants his no just pm me.
Must admit though that I did have a few more glasses of wine though initially.
    Reunited with my trannie......
