He had a vintage sports car in those days (early 1990s).

No? I think I missed it too

It was actually a glorious period in the history of British journalism.

We worked with a young reporter called Bill Goodwin (who I do still see) refused to reveal his confidential source of information and went through all the courts in the land and was eventually convicted of contempt of court.

The case then went to Europe and the government lost and despite being told to change the law never did and never overturned Bill's criminal record. He won a Freedom of Information Award for his trouble and his case has enable many journalists since to win their won cases when hounded to reveal confidential sources.

I saw the one where he denied he'd ever met you, and had never ever appeared in photographs with a man dressed in a zebra outfit and a sequinned jockstrap!

Old Skool values and loyalties, love 'em. I wish the world was full of more Bill Goodwin's. In my old job, the motto was "My word is my bond" and it was bandied around by a lot of spineless liars, however, I was a great believer in it, and to this day, if I say I'm gonna do something, I always do!

Or is he? Ferrarri insisted he drove the FXX and rumour has it that the one on the show is actually his, and who's going to pay his wages?

The Licence fee, why do you think they want to increase it this year?
