    Long time no post (sorta)

Hi Everyone... I have been lurking lately and a few have asked me how things are so: (SteveC, Whealie, LV)

We (Mrs.X and I) are both really well. I have not been here much as of late, for no real reason other then we are planning a ~2 year tour of Africa and South America and then back to home to Aus (god know what we'll do then).

So any time I have had, I have spent it on line buying this or that or in the HUBB. We leave in just over two months, which means life has gotten as crazy as it possibly can. I spend almost every weekend fixing bodging building something for the bike so that it will make it. Anubis has spent more time in lots of pieces in 2009 then on the road.
As a result I have lots of parts going spare so I may pay my subs so that i can list it here.

So far (vaguely) the plans are to be homeless by end of June then have a week or so riding the bits of the southern uk that we have not seen. Stopping by friends and family to say Ciao! Then we will take the tunnel to France.. Ride down though France via the Pyrenees, then though a Spain and in to Portugal for a few weeks. Come late summer/early Autumn (when the temps die down a bit) we will hit Morocco. WE will then slowly ride via the western route to central Africa and then to South Africa. From there fly/ ship/swim to South America and head north until we hit the US border where will hang a left and fly home. We will have a blog and a website (the blog is up and running although not very interesting at this point) but the website is very raw and I don’t have the time to work on it at all. I dont really know what else to say, I am in that stage where there is too much to do and not enough time to do it, and so I am more worried then excited.

    Cheers all
    X

Flipping 'eck. Not been doing much then.

If London is on your list of sights to see, there's a spare room at mine you'd be welcome to.

Give us some details of the mods you've made too. Your mods were always interesting and done so professionally I'd be keen to see them.

Wow, what a trip! I wonder if anything will seem anything other than flat dull afterwards!

Good luck to you both, have a ball and keep safe.

The south America part - deeply, deeply jealous Xander...
