Today's laugh on the road courtesy of the muppet in the Golf.

So I'm sitting at the lights.

Just as the pedestrian lights go red, and milliseconds before I get the green light (there's no filter green light for the right turn) the bus driver of the number 25 bendybus decides now's his time to enter the yellow box with his way ahead completely blocked

We get the green, but the way ahead is completely and totaly blocked by the bus.

Muppet behind me starts blowing his horn and revving his engine. There's nowhere to go so I sit put. He spins his wheels and pulls up along side me, giving me a really scarey glare ( ) oooohhhhh followed by a mouthful of abuse.

He then spins his wheels, revs the tits out of his engine, and floors it - for all of 12 feet !!!!!!! until he is just about touching the side of the bus

The lights go through their sequence, and in the interim, the bus has moved up about 3 feet. Looking through the windows of the bus I can see the road the other side is clear, and I can now get round the bus. Safely. With full view of everything thats happening around me and around the junction.

So I pull up along side matey who's still sitting with his car glued to the side of the bus. He's restricted his view so much he cant see a thing except the wording of the ad on the side of the bus

So I give him a smile and a wave, and pull around the back of the bus. Meantime the car behind me has joined matey, sitting an inch from his bumper. So both of them are hemmed in now.

A final toot of the horn and a friendly wave and Im gone.

    I LOVE when that happens

    Nice

    Doesn't happen often enough.

Me? I spent about nine hours on the M62 because a man had jumped from one of the bridges and another idiot had done something that left two people dead, another few in hospital and the motorway closed in both directions from 6.30am to, well as far as I know, it's still closed. It was at 7.00pm, anyway.

THAT kind of thing happens far too often

The Bus driver will get 6 points on his licence and a £150 fine the car drivers will only get 3 points and £60 fine.
The drivers of the 25's are an arrogant lot.

Hopefully they'll be a junction camera there and he'll get a £60-£80 fine for stopping in a box junction...
