    Re: Swerve test

When I took my car test it lasted 30 minutes, my bike test lasted 20 minutes.
Although I had been on an RAC training course before that which was the predecessor to the modern test, the HGV tests I took, one for HGV Three, one for HGV Two and finally one for HGV One, and the PCV tests all took over one and a half hours each. Excluding the theory tests.
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE

My PSV assessment took 90mins including town and motorways, it was all a bit daft as our policies then were that I had to take all new drivers out and show them were everything was on our coaches, regardless of previous experience, so when "the newby" arrived I had to take him on his assessment, it turned out he was a qualified testing officer, so when the change came about with licence laws he then had to take me out on an assessment.
Prior to that the army coaches were officially classed as ambulances and we did not need a PSV.
Loopholes, you could drive buses through them

I used to have to drive all the vehicles so the QTO could give me a mock test while he was being tested. Then the loophole was closed and I had to take the test for real.
