    Insurance quote

After 2 years of blood sweet and tears the time is nearly here, got my documents from DVLA, picking battery up tomorrow and MOT booked for Friday (please keep your fingers crossed). Been on line tonight looking at insurance, I want, maybe need, break down cover.
    Carol Nash £113.00 breakdown included
    Dial direct £63.00 not included.
Anyone any experience with Dial direct? Am i better going for cheaper quote and getting breakdown separately or going with Miss Nash?
Do we as members of XRV get a discount from her?

Insurance is like baked beans. The prices for what appear to be the same thing can some three or four times the cheapest.

But when you look at what you get, you'll find the cheap brands have fewer beans and more water. You are not comparing like with like.

You may not want organically produced whole food bean in a sundried tomato ragout, but you probably also do not want the cheapest Tesco Value, blue and white striped, baked beans.

Insurance is the same. Not all policies cover the same things, not all pay out so fast in the event of a claim, not all have recovery. The cheapest are often the worst.

Carole Nash comes highly recommended and, comparing like with like, offers good value.

Bl**dy hell Whealie that one hell of an analogy . Point taken though, I'd almost made up my mind to go with CN, read only but good things about the compnay, but thought I'd check out the experts on here 1st. By the way Heinz are the only beans I eat

Buy a cheap classic bike, it does not need to be a runner.
Insure it and add your other bike to the policy.
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE
