Re: It ain't no XRV but ........

Thanks for all the thoughts peeps , interestingly , exactly my thoughts almost !!!

I've owned most of the alternatives that you all suggested with the exception of Kymmy's CB500s and Yeti's Knackered pit pony !!.....

Transalp - yes - loved it , but not a Transalp and a KTM in the same garage.
K75 - yes - loved that too , and Deauville like in it's manners, hard to find now .
Pan - absolutely - owned 2, and if I could get another I would - heavy though - might just have a chance of getting (wait for it !!) a 1990 model - the 4th pan ever registered in UK - with 16000 miles on it !!!, owned by the same guy for the last 19 years , 300 miles between last 2 MOTs)

Another I have considered is a 1150 RT - nice.

There again I'm happy where I am right now - no rush to add to the stable - I just saw a nice wee Deauville close by me !!! you know how it is ? a wee rush of blood to the head and visions of clearing a space in the garage,

3 bikes - that would be silly - maybe ?

    2011 Triumph Tiger 800 - "Black Pussy" - MMMM Nice !!!
    2000 Suzuki DRZ400S - "Ol' Yella" - very bright
    2011 Peugeot V-Clic 50cc - "Scoot" - It's my wife's, an enjoyable ride.

    I have a house , but I can't guarantee it's safe !!

    No, that would be greedy!

    I've only got one.
    Brrrmm - '04 XL650V Transalp in Silver

It's not a case of whether we can fix it or not - it's more a case of how fixed would you like it?

CB500S - with small Invader style bikini fairing

They would post low 1.50s at Oulton park, when BSB were doing low 1.33s and Supersports 1.38s to put them into perspective

Fast trackday jockeys would post 1.52 - 2.00s on R1s and Gixers etc.

Oh, and a very nice RD04 HRC coloured Marathon Replica
