WHAT!?

Drive with no insurance,

run a red light,

run down a biker leaving him with a broken knee, ankle and arm,

flee the scene,

torch the car,

AND STILL NOT GO TO JAIL!

Just what are the UK judiciary on!!??

No jail for uninsured hit-and-run driver - Visordown Motorcycle news : General news

It's not the same planet that I live on, that's for sure!

It's not a case of whether we can fix it or not - it's more a case of how fixed would you like it?

Re: WHAT!?

I think it depends what a high level community order means.

I suggest bike cleaning - Mudwiz leads us on a gentle off-road bimble and then we all sit down for a coffee whole he has to clean and polish our bikes

Re: WHAT!?

eh?

I bet if you did that on a bike, knocking down a pedestrian or cyclist in the process you would have the book thrown at you. But that's what you get for riding a bike and seemingly lowering yourself to second class citizen status I guess.

Re: WHAT!?

I'm ashamed that this happened in my home town.
A lot of punishments are too lenient nowadays because the prisons are full up
