So you bounce well then, hope you're going to get new tyres before Saturday night Now you know why racers change their slicks when it's wet.

    Glad you're not hurt.

Yup, a new rear tyre was already on order - it should even be in now! I'll get it changed either tomorrow or Saturday morning.

Now the bike is dry I can see that the left-side fairing and mud guard has lots of light scratches caused by grit in the grassy verge. So... decisions. Get it resprayed the original blue (easier to sell, no need to change V5, rear panels unaffected), get it resprayed something more "interesting" (RWB? Black? Black/gold? Jaffa orange?), or just leave it so I don't have to worry about more scratches in the future?

Glad it was not too serious and you are O.K.
As for the scratches leave them, if you feel like selling it in the future sort them then else leave them and stop worrying about the others you could accumulate.
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE

Glad you're ok Dee Duble Yuh, still bouncy and only your pride got dented. 1st off in 27-years - can't be much of a dent
