    Glad you are OK, and at least it was a soft-ish landing.

    Let the bike keep it's battle scars , get 'em touched up if you decide to sell later.

    Thanks folks, but no sympathy needed since it was my mistake and at least I didn't get hurt. Regarding the respray, I suppose I could get it resprayed in BMW GS colours, but first I'd have to hit it with an ugly stick.
