Sharrie - It's better to pick-up the odd bash and scrape actually doing stuff !! ..... bruises heal, even broken bones. In my opinion it's better to have the odd injury and live life to the full.

Mankind (even the mad Welsh female branch) was designed to stretch itself and find it's limits and then stretch a bit further and push the limits , that's how we became the top dog on this planet.

If everyone sat on their @rse and didn't do things because it looks scarey we would never have discovered the new world - we would have been too frightened to cross the Rocky Mountains - we would never have flown or climbed Everest - we would still be looking up at the moon and wondering what the hell it was.

Go girl go !!! by the way - your horse is a wimp! - the SEVERAL times I've been thrown, the busturd actually managed to throw me so hard I flipped right over the top and landed on my back in front of him . I still managed to hold the reins though and get back on.

we had horses when we lived in germany - my sister used to ride for the army. i learnt to ride but am **** scared of horses and they bloody know it as well. one of my funniest memories was my 16 yr old sister breaking her leg and being in the local german hospital, they were about to cut one of her new leather (& bloody expensive) riding boots off and my father nearly had a heart attack and made them take it off without damaging it. my sister was in agony and was calling him every name under the sun. i dont think she ever forgave him...

Well I look just lush this morning, my nose is killing me and I think it managed to break my fall and I have the start of what looks like to marvellous black eyes

Why do we do things that we know will eventually bite us in the arse


For example, why on earth would you ride a big horse (he's 18 hands which is about 6 ft 2 I reckon)

This horse has a mind of his own and decides that he's a bit scared of something so turns quickly across the school, Sharrie desperately trying to slow said horsey down and failing miserably and manages not to fall off.

Until, he decides that actually he'd not finished running and turns sharply dumping Sharrie onto her shoulder, head and getting a face full of horse poopy sawdust.




Owwwie, it is such a long way to fall off, but I got my arse back on and finished the lesson

Still have to wonder why, and in a week I'll go back for more.

I have a sore nose where my helmet hit it, bruised shoulder and I can't lift my arm, my knee feels like it's been hit with a sledge and my back hurts.

Knees fine Chad, it's my nose and shoulder that is really sore


I did think when he started to go that I had no chance
