From the Vaders
Don't know the man, but hope he recovers soon. Damaged spleen? Pah! Soho's had his out and was up and looking well last weekend, just a few weeks after. The human body is staggering at mending: more important is that he thinks positively.
It seems the driver went for him as clearly as an assailant with a knife. That's the most dangerous bit and Jase has survived it.If he can do that, the rest is well within his capacity.
Good luck mate!![]()
1997 Jag 3.2 Exec (jangly jangly!); two bicycles; 2001 XL 650 V-1 which is ready for anything, cuts through traffic like a hot knife through butter and just gets better and betterand a low mileage Pan European ST1100
why would someone do that? seriously... it makes me so f*cking angry.
best wishes to jase.
and if the van driving sh1tbag doesnt do time, then lets hope his details are released so he can receive some "educatation"
Chris.

Where ever you go...there you are...
Bad news and best wishes for a speedy recovery Jase.
Unfortunately this sort of thing sounds all too familiar. I've been side-swiped a couple of times before...
The first time I was side-swiped was at a 'healthy speed' on the M25 when I was a courier years ago. It was a buttock clenching moment but I managed to stay on. I did catch up with the guy. I re-educated him personally and comprehensively.
The last time was a few years ago in Bristol going to work one morning (had a very good witness). The CPS decided driving without due care and attention was all they could be bothered with but he did have to pay me £100 compensation. That was also a white glaziers van.
Apparently using a vehicle as a weapon is not that serious - but if they get out and assault you, then they're really in trouble and may even get a fine![]()
XL650VY - TKC80's, Mivv Suono "silencer", Arrow Headers, PAIR system removed, 125 mains, Renthal 677 bars, MRA Vario Screen, Scottoiler, Honda Main Stand, Daytona Heated Grips, Sparkbright Charge Monitor
I could go on and on about reckless driving. What counts right now is the healing.Positive thinking and good care are a part of it,but it was a thread just like this that made an amazing difference for me.I hope you get to see how many peeps are feeling for you right now Jase.I'm always thinking positive, after a trip that took me close to the "Gates" I'm now thinking - Freekin' aye, born again ! How lucky is that ?![]()
I work in a hospital and all I can say is the care is amazing, specially ICU
