It's not a case of whether we can fix it or not - it's more a case of how fixed would you like it?
Einstein - Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.
Just checked the date, it definately isn't April 1st... Is it?...

The cab driver that picked us up from our hotel in Barcelona to head back to the airport had one of these, and was watching one of those late night quizz shows all the way. It lost signal a few times, but it was incredibly clear for most of the journey. Oh, he also flitted from his mobile phone to his cab radio when the quiz was clearly boring himMy guess would be that at NO point on the 50km journey was he actually concentrating on the road ahead. Mind, it was 3.30am, so that was probably all right then
Scarey stuff.
On soap box:
So because we are not allowed dark visors and because of the policing of it, we are actively encouraged/forced to wear sunglasses (i.e. glass!) next our eyeballs on a bright sunny day, completely negating any safety the well tested visor might provide. With no means (assuming you don't wear a peaked helmet) of blocking out the sun other than riding with your hand shielding your eyes (one handed!?!) or, dipping your helmet so far that it completely obscures your view we are supposed to live with just another potential hazard.
YET , just another distracting gadget in a car for people to fiddle with and stare at whilst they try and knock us off. And another sensitive area for politics in police, as they don't want to be seen pestering our civilised car driving citizens now do they.
I think even the screens in the back should be banned or at least out of view of the back window judging by the amount of drivers I have seen watching them from the car behind! never mind actually sitting on their own dashboard when they can hear the TV.
There should be nothing distracting or obscuring your view in the windscreen or rear window, and all these people with a parcel shelf full of fluffy toys and crap dangling from their mirror should be flogged!!![]()
Even one of those bloomin tree air fresheners hanging from your mirror is enough to obscure a bike!
Back off grumpy no sleep soap box!:

Hmmmmmm nowhere in you rant did I see you mention...
The incredibly dark tint film that morons and drug dealers have fitted to the side windows of their pimped rides, stopping us from seeing them (cos they're SO important obviously!) and more importantly THEM FROM SEEING US!
Truly a one-sided law I would say!
Go on, now have a moan about that too!
