Do they still have lunatic asylums?
It seems someone needs to be housed there.

As a Herpetologist ( Snake keeper), I think there is only a problem with the size of the snake. I have 3 Corn snakes the smallest is 8" long the two, two year olds are 4' long.
In the correct housing they require an enclosure of 36" x 15" x12". A python can grow up to 30+ feet the enclosure would indeed need to be the size of a garden.
A corn eats small rodents, a python can eat anything up to the size of a fawn ( baby Deer).
They should be allowed out to stretch but they should not be left unattended while they are.
Cats are often roaming into other peoples gardens, where they dig up the flower beds and poop all over the flower beds, they are a nuisance but no body ever seems to complain about them.
Dog owners have to clear up after their pets and are held responsible for the animals, Maybe it is about time the same was instigated for Cat owners.

SF, well said, if the cat was trespassing, what "goes around comes around", justice has been served. (yours sincerely, a dog owner for almost 50 years!)

I hate cats... there sly selfish animals and i wouldn't trust one as far as i could spit. They jump up on kitchen sides and spread god knows what diseases on there and like previously said they shat everywhere in other peoples gardens.

As SF would say, feed em to the snakes
