Here's a promo video from Honda about their Semmi-Automatic Transmission that is due (?) on the new VFR. Maybe.

Interesting prototype. Very smooth in auto mode. I wonder whether there is still decent engine braking and how clean down-shifts are in auto mode.

A twist and go VFR - a bit of a Marmite product I should imagine.
    SV650SK3 - Functional but a bit boring compared with a KTM990ADV

That is very similar to the DN-01 Gearbox.
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE

I was under the impression that the DN-01 had a hydraulic drive? A complicated thing using swash plates for an (infinitely?) variable ratio drive.

    Details here -

    Honda DN-01

Definitely not the system used on the new VFR.
