    Greenwitch Maritime Museum Parking Tube

Hello, I am planning to visit the Maritime Museum in Greenwitch with my family sometime soon. I will probably drive down and would like to park somewhere near a tube station and travel the last bit by tube.
Can anyone on this forum give me any advice on my best options, it would probably be a Saturday or Sunday.
    Any recomendations appreciated. Thanks.

If you go to a place called Island Gardens on the Isle of Dogs (London E14) you can park on a pay and display bay (plenty of room), walk into the park (about 10 yard walk) and the foot tunnel will take you under the river and right to the Cutty Sark in Greenwich. Maritime museum is about a minute from there.

The foot tunnel lifts are like the Tardis but in wood.

if it helps you can park in my street (NW London) which is only 5 mins walk from Colindale Tube station (on Northern Line) a bit far but it takes u str8 to Bank wher u can take the DLR I think....
No parking restrictions in the area and it's fairly safe...unless I am around
If you don't find others more convenient location you are most welcome...I will make u a nice cupper too!
If you have a particular interest in Maritime matters u may also want ot visit my workplace (IMO) but would have to be during the week.
If you are coming on a sunday u can park in central London almost anywhere I believe....not on Saturdays...many areas are restricted either until 2 or 6pm.
    Hope it helps cheers

Come to my house. You can then either get a bus, the DLR or even walk (It only just over a mile and you'd get to walk across Blackheath and past the Observatory through Greenwich Park.

And tea and bikkies waiting when you get back.

The road you would park in is Saunders Ness Road as close to the park entrance as you can, always spaces there, just buy a ticket from the machine.

Hopefully on the link below you can see the dome which you would park in sight of.
