I think it shows the era it was made with the paint shells.
Also Donald Sutherland plays a totally spaced out Person.

Best film ever, AS a young twenty year old I have watched Kellys Heroes every time it comes on the telly and I bought the video when videos first came out fantastic film , much the same as Blazzing saddles.

Had to watch it again myself, fantastic so many good lines even a singalong theme tune. we ain't got no booze, great and must also agree with blazing sadles.

WHERE EAGLES DARE superb burton, eastwood again, good story, never ending bullets, stupid germans, mary ure and ingrid pitt, what more can you want? its even got the streotype bavarian pub with umpah band and heidi waitresses.
BAND OF BROTHERS and SAVING PRIVATE RYAN depressing but excellent. BoB not really a movie but excellent all the same, and its my list so up yours
DOWNFALL who says the germans dont do good war films? theirs are just a bit different to ours thats all. watched this because of all the youtube clips of adolf's rant, its in german but is really a great film, give it a go.
oh alright, #6 DAS BOOT watch the original german mini series, not the awful English dubbed movie version.
