    I think English as a separate language is also on the endangered list, it is being brutalised every day and this is just the start of its decline.
    YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE

    Amongst other things this is caused by CO2 emissions & climate change. If we all stopped driving our cars vowels would rapidly make a dramatic comeback.

    When I moved up North I found the vowels in the wild are a lot different than in the south. They are are also a distinct sub-species oop here - probably adpating to the generally cooler northern climate to become much harder (bath vs baarth). There also seems to be fewer "o"s (going t' pub), but lots of "e"s, (ee by gum; thee, and so on).
