As you all know i am not very bright but....

even I know when its to bad outside
Took me ages to get home this morning, was attacked again 3 times by the Ice Giants. F#ck i hate picking my bike up in the snow. All of them very slow speed drops,no damage to me or the bike at all.Was just not possible to keep my bike upright.(25 kg of rock salt in my topbox did not help i guess)

    So

for the first time in ages i took the car to work this evening
They call him "Ze Quiet one"
I listen to what the rice crispies tell me to do

    Don't feel too bad Pete.
I had problems standing without the bike so I have left it in the shed and use the Bus.
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE

Re: As you all know i am not very bright but....

I haven't been on the bike for over a week - way way way to icy up here. Even salted roads are frozen.

I even managed to put the car in a hedge today. No damage to car or mu h damage to the hedge fortunately. Cause was a short steepish incline that I stopped at the top thinking "that looks icy" two seconds later when I put one wheel on the slope the whole car slid sideways slowly spinning round. One wheelthen hit the verge which gave a bit of grip but only caused the side with no grip to slew round. By now i had enough momentum to end up thoroughly buried in the hedge. This was in my shogun in 4wd and centre diff lock In and really does prove that when there is no grip there is No grip 4x4 or not. Shook me up too as for a moment or two I thought I was going to roll over. Getting out was "fun" as was the rest of the short descent both of which would have been impossible without 4x4.
