    strange but true !!

    what with this weather

went out to check the local ice skating rink-[our vehicle turn around in the street noticed that were me dogs been pissing that the ice/snow has not refrozze.

got me thinking why? and if so does human piss have the same effect, not thay I`d be seen pissing in the street "leave that to the Foreigners".

if its the Urea maybe some stuff the local farmers use as fertilizer would work better than salt or is this the stuff "terrorists" use as bombs stuff

its a crazy world out there

pee contains waste products. Such as salt.

Also, if the pee melted the ice and then drained away, then there wouldn't have been much liquid in that area to freeze overnight.

I think I will go out and try it.
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE

Ammomium sulphate or Urea fertilisers do work as de-icers, but only down to about -7 degrees, and it eats your drive away.

The really good stuff to use is calcium chloride, works to almost -30, heats up on contact with water and melts ice away.

You can buy it as a mushroom fertiliser, no restrictions on sale, but be careful to wear thick gloves when handling the flakes.
