It's been so long since I last did it ........

Somebody will have to remind me what all the buttons and levers and turny bits are for on a motorcycle or whatever you call that thingamyjig that is standing in my shed , doing nothing !!.

Watching the Dakar every night is not helping my lack of riding depression either !!!
    2011 Triumph Tiger 800 - "Black Pussy" - MMMM Nice !!!
    2000 Suzuki DRZ400S - "Ol' Yella" - very bright
    2011 Peugeot V-Clic 50cc - "Scoot" - It's my wife's, an enjoyable ride.

    I have a house , but I can't guarantee it's safe !!

went to work on mine today. OK once I was off the side roads. In fact the main roads had a dry line emerging. Bloody cold though, especially with this easterly that's started.

I have fitted some handlebar muffs (bought from WinXP nearly a year ago). I have to say these, together with heated grips, are just awesome for winter riding. I am just wearing summer gloves and grips on the 40% setting and they are proper warm and toasty.

If it wasn't for the fact thay keep your hands warm I wouldn't have 'em on the bike - they look ****e, its damn awkward pushing it about or getting your left hand back on the bars after flipping the visor or whatever, and at 70ish they start pressing your hand. But they are so warm all that soon gets forgotten.

I thought the same but you soon adjust to them, i took them off as i could not use my tankbag with them on and also i was having trouble with the fluid level of my clutch so i had to keep an eye on it. I didnt have any problems at speed but then again my handguards are quite big and they only just fit round so kept them very rigid.

I nearly ordered another pair this winter but then got some really good gloves
