    DANGEROUS???????

    Your thoughts?

Would any of this cause you concern over your own safety if you saw someone driving with that attire?

Obviously, caravans used to get a bit of stick about causing hold ups, but with this ladies Mum on the road, looks like we may have new problems!!!

As long as she can see properly and the veil isn't obstructing her field of vision I can't see a problem.

    Re: DANGEROUS???????

I'm more concerned about her offering a pray to protect her from accidents etc while reversing.

On seconds thoughts maybe that's not so different to me setting off on my @. I'm either praying that the plonker at the junction has seen me (while assuming he hasn't) or roundly curseing the ar****le when he pull's out on me.

    Re: DANGEROUS???????

doesnt seem to be hampering her vision in any way so i can't see a problem with it.

Funny though how people can't walk into a supermarket with a hoodie on but is perfectly legal to wear a burka that leaves only the eyes visible? madness...

    Re: DANGEROUS???????

I'd go along with that too.

Doesn't seem to restrict her vision at all.

Also like that she is doing it for her and not the male members of the family. Makes a change. (although maybe she's just butt ugly ! )

I've refused to remove my helmet before after following a ninja through a petrol station check out! caused a few mumbles but what could they do!

    Re: DANGEROUS???????

No different in wearing that or some thick rimmed specs, her vision is not hampered, she can probably see better through that than I could with my old black visor Simpson Bandit

as for ID when refuelling, going to bank, shopping at tescos, dont start me off

I don't remove mine to pay for fuel. I do get into a few arguments but if they want to refuse payment when, in plain view of CCTV I've tried to give them cash, that's their problem and not mine. I just tell them to take the petrol back out if they don't want the money. Usually they give up

Of course, some won't turn the pump on - but I just pretend I can't hear the tannoy and eventually they just assume I'm thick and turn it on. Strange how people equate deaf with stupid.

Back to this one - she has perfect visibility so her headgear is fine. It's no different from wearing a balaclava - a point our local Morrisons security guard doesn't agree with
