Hello chappies,

Just recovering from an " Old New Year " party and was wondering how the big thaw affected you ?

We've had over a foot of snow since the week before xmas and it is only now starting to thaw out.

The negatives --

The rhones on my house have crashed to the deck - at high level
My greenhouse is wrecked
My back wall is cracked
And my neighbours garage has collapsed, narrowly missing his classic Triumph Herald

The positives

I was using the snow as a fridge to save space. So far, I have found --

4 cans of Export
3 bottles of Stella
2 bottles of Chardonay
1 casserole dish of spaghetti bolognese ( think I'll throw that one out )

But the rest --- RESULT

Happy days

Oh forgot around 6 champagne corks in the garden where I was trying to clear the back fence whilst standing at my back door
