Fed up with one way racism

I might get acused of something here but never mind.

Tuesday night this week at 10pm on bbc 2 it appears we have MUSLIM DRIVING SCHOOL.

Are muslims that different form anybody else that they need a series dedicated to them learning to drive.

If i made a programme and called Christrian Cornish driving school these would these people be the first to complain of descrimination and racism.

try finding a true Londoner in London.If you were to ask the Asians about this programe they would be as insulted as us "Norman invaders" where`s the true RED headed English gone to -[ Radio 2]

its all headline grabbing, ratings effected twoddle if you ask me . Now the snows gone is wall to wall HAITI till the next Disaster, think some time on that sunny desolate and isolated island in "Micronesea" is needed.

I agree with that people don't blend in to the community around them they do tend to live in there own communities and stick with people of same race or religion

Each to his own, but isn’t there some confusion here between race and religion. I am white and British but could convert to Islam tomorrow and appear no different apart from belief. I have a name of French origin. There may well be people out there who “Look foreign” and are in fact have a more of a claim to be indigenous than I do.
As far as programmes like “Muslim driving school” ?………..it’s only telly. What makes good telly isn’t usually representative of the real world. Market forces rule. If it’s crap and nobody watches it it’ll soon go away.

JUst speak to the police the only people they can Beat up throw in jail with out any problem is the White British person every one else has different rules if they get arrested. I' am not a racist some people might say different, wait and see who gets an increase in votes in the General election.

No confusion here, merely demonstrating that the same applies, I said alienating others not a particular race or religion.
I consider myself white English (as anyone can be British) in the same way that a Scott, Welsh, or Irishman would consider themselves just that and British secondly.
My interpretation of indigenous is not absolute, but having father’s grandfathers and great grandfather’s work contribute and fight for this country make me feel kind of comfortable calling myself that.
I have no problem with anyone of any creed, colour or religion who want to live in this country because of what it has to offer and want to contribute to its society (not change it) We are undeniably losing our identity because of changes brought about by those who wish to appease the minorities who take exception at how our culture is and should remain.

Muslim driving school... erm, do you learn how to drive differently because of you religion now?

To be honest i don't really give a crap, i'll never watch it so it doesn't bother me. If for instance i was working or living abroad and there was a few programs on in english i'd most likely enjoy watching them, would this then be open for moaning from the locals? and more so, why would it matter?

Another thing (being as someone mentioned it) is this Haiti disaster. I'm watching on the news about how uk has given 12 million and the usa 100 million bla bla bla... hang on a minute... the country was a **** hole in the depths of poverty last month and no fekker gave a **** about them then so why do they now?... Don't get me wrong, ofcourse they deserve support and help but they also have done for many years and the usa didnt give them sh*t but now all of a sudden they are all over the news saying we will do this and that... Makes me fekkin sick.

Just playing Devil's Advocate here, but is there anything to suggest the "Muslim Driving School" was the result of a request by a Muslim for a Muslim only driving school?

Sounds to me just as likely some TV exec got an idea to get viewers, a little like a Troll post for BBC2; designed to elicit a reaction.

I expect, based on that assumption, the Christrian Cornish driving school might have been an equally successful show, though perhaps not so de riguer...

You'd probably find there are plenty, if not most run-of-the-mill Muslims are just as flummoxed as you are as to why such a driving school even exists...
