When we first started caravaning all the caravaners used to acknowledge each other the AA and the Rac patrol men in those days used to have a motorcycle and sidecars they used to salute you!Ohhhhh the good old days.

For the next few months i live in Caravanville and they should all be

blown to peices!!!!!
and road tax no less than£10,000,000 for the privelige to drag one on the roads holding everyone else up.......

Allright with the nods and waves but here in Euro land there is also the leg wave, as you pass another rider in the same direction, a quick leg wave. As I'm bloody cosmapolitan I do it every now and then, any body else ????

It was started by the pocket rocket riders as a means to stop the cramp.
As you pass another bike you extend the left leg to allow the blood flow to return, either that or it was a poor attempt at trying to kick the other rider.

try driving a motorhome, I get fed up with waving at other motorhomes.

some of them just get silly with it.

mind you there's quite a bit of snobbery / jealousy with it, a lot of the drivers of small vans seem to look on in when the driver of a larger van waves.

still it's good for a laugh and you can spot the couples that have rowed dead easy
