Depends on the location, if udder shelter then a lightweight dust cover would suit, else any decent cover will do.
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE

Something UV resistant I reckon, had two 'made in china' cheapies recently that have crumbled into dust!

I use this one Buy Extra Large Motorcycle Cover - Blue/Silver. at Argos.co.uk - Your Online Shop for . and usually get a couple of years out of it before it's ripped to pieces by the weather.

Don't be put off by the pic, thats a stock pic, the back of the cover is much bigger, in fact ive currently got mine over the back of my DL1000 with both panniers on (givi e41)

For £20 it's not too bad... i've not tried the larger scooter cover they do for £35 as the £20 one has always done good for me.

Let us know if you get something different and how it is.

When my bikes lived outside I had this green canvas job. It was shaped to the bike but heavy and bulky so no use for carting around but for home use it was hard to beat. Good in the wind and rain and didn't need tying on.

Only real downside was for the first few weeks the bike was left with green dusty specks as the canvas shed its extra bits.
