Phew.. that could have been bad....
I think sometimes people are having bad days and they must think "oh what the hell, i'm going to pull out".
Imagine this...
Lucky for me it was the day after a complete strip and refit of the front brakes.
There I was toodling along doing 60 on an open clear national speed limit road.
I see a car pull up to a junction a few hundred yards ahead on the right, I'm not sure if he is going to stop so I let off the throttle and started to brake.
He turns his head and see's me coming and stops, "phew" i thought, but then he decides its ok to pull out (i'm now less than 100 yards).
Everything turned into slo mo mode....
I banged on the front brake so hard my arms collapsed (as they was weren't locked out) the peak of my lid went under the standard screen on my at and went down behind the trip computer!, my wrists rolled forward.. and I did and automatic stoppie of sorts..

Why pull out? death wish? a thought of "its going to hurt you more than its going to hurt me" ?

When I read the title of the thread I thought you meant against speed guns etc..
The radar reflective dull green on my Armstrong makes it so those warnings don't go off!

I've also noticed that the retardation of the driver is directly proportional to the size of the smurf keyring hanging on the rear towing eye
