    Sweet Tenere 600 spotted

I popped down to my local bike shop today and saw this sweet looking Tenere outside.

Fully expecting it to be a customers bike, I asked about it and was told it's actually For Sale.

((I've decided (rightly or wrongly) NOT to put this in the For Sale area, purely because it's not me selling it.))

I thought it was too nice not to mention on here, in case someone was interested.

It appears original and complete, except for the panel behind the seat being missing. A few cracks on the side panels, but they are complete, it's MOT'd and (electric) started on the button. Lock is missing from the petrol cap, and other than that, just minor tinkering to make it really nice. I was even offered a test ride to try and pry my wallet out (I declined as I'm too weak willed with bikes!)

Shop are asking £1100 which seems OK to me.

As a few people have switched to Tenere's on here recently, I thought there may be some interest?

It's at Warehouse Motorcycles in South Godstone on 01342 893847

I have a small vid of it running, which I can't post on here, so PM me if you want it emailed on to you.

I had this Model back in 1994, i remember it being outrageously comfortable with a 300 + Mile Tank range.
Engine wise it was unburstable too.
Though to be honest my 1992 3YF engine with it's Five valves is a lot sweeter.

My son had one that he sold when he finished uni and got married in 1999 it reappeared on EBay last month at Twigworth motorcycles, looked reasonable but had a steel back wheel rim.
