    Where to park?

Being part of the two-wheeled master race now, I realise that parking can be that much more flexible.

I was wandering through Basingstoke today and I wondered where I'd park if I bought the bike.. which lead me to think if there was a "UK Where to park your bike" database.

With the amazing things you can do with google maps I wondered if there was a call for such a thing?

    Places not to park
    1) double yellow lines.
    2) my parking space.
    3) anwhere with yellow hatching (or similar).
    4) anywhere displaying wheel lock symbols (like to see 'em get one on a 21" wheel ) or take a pair of bolt cutters.
    5) disabled parking spaces (scum wot park ere).
    6) directly outside Police Stations (yes you would have to be stupid, but it happens).
    7) America (it's just too far away).
Apart from this park where the hell you like and has a hard surface for your side stand (or centre stand, ever seen someone trying to get a bike off a centre stand that's sunk into the mud, hours of fun).

Don't park on pavements. Unless you ride a C90, that is... they seem to be invisible when parked in town centres.

Interesting........ good idea. Damn PITA having to work for a living, then I could spend all my time coding this sort of stuff.
I'll have dabble with GoogleMaps and see if I can't do something.
