    New Tiger

I actually bought a copy of the comic (MCN) this week as it had a piece on the new Triumph Tiger. I never really know whether to believe what's printed in it or the 'artists impressions' but, for the most part the new models don't seem too dissimilar from the finished product. Hopefully, with regard to the article on the Tiger they've got it wrong. The old bike is a good all-rounder although looking a bit dated now. I saw a couple of German guys on them in Croatia a couple of years ago and Brit on a heavily laden one in Morocco who was on his way back from Mauritania. I'd hoped the new bike would rival the 12GS and give us a newer alternative to the Africa Twin but, it looks like a large Super Motard. I just hope Honda don't follow suit! LB.

they definitely seem to be trying to appeal to sports bike riders

instead of appealing to the fastest growing market in motorcycling when are they going to get the MESSAGE
Despacio. Hay m'as tiempo que vida

Yeh Laughing Bob, I always wanted a Tiger and thought if they used the new motor and did one of those "all new parts, but looks very similar" upgrades, it would still be a great bike.
Looked a bit too modern for my taste.

I am a bit too old to be ridding around on supermoto jobbies.
Still 18 and pimply with the helmet on, but some "old fart" appears every time I take it off.

I don't suppose it will come as any comfort - but you are not alone in this !!

(Also I 've noticed over the past few years that there is something seriously wrong with my shaving mirror, and it's getting worse.)
