    Need some new gear.

I have RST waterproof jacket and trousers at the moment, and to be honest, they are the warmest and dryest bits of kit I have had.
Only problem is, the bloody zips on the cuffs & ankles have all broken, after 13 months of use! I don't hold out much hope of a warranty repair/replacement.
That means I'm in the market for some new gear. Does anyone recommend any particular kit?
Its got to be very warm and very waterproof as I ride all through the winter (just not snow)!

I've broken two zip pulls on my HG jacket so far after about eighteen months use. That said it is warm and waterproof and it does fit me well.

I'm with Tarka , HG do some good kit. I have a Gore Voyager suit - brill - the cuff zip pullers broke on both arms , but I put a couple of small "keyrings" in - fine. The Bib 'n Brace troosers are superb , gives and extra layer around the kidneys !!
    2011 Triumph Tiger 800 - "Black Pussy" - MMMM Nice !!!
    2000 Suzuki DRZ400S - "Ol' Yella" - very bright
    2011 Peugeot V-Clic 50cc - "Scoot" - It's my wife's, an enjoyable ride.

    I have a house , but I can't guarantee it's safe !!

I'm with HG they do seem to have good kit.
That said I returned a jacket after 3 months when it leaked and got a replacement no problems.
All other kit has been fine.

Frank Thomas stuff seemed to be a bit hit and miss to me.
I've not tried any others though.

    Has anybody heard of Rukka?

A workmate has offered me his old jacket (made by Rukka), as he has given up his bike for good after a bad accident. Tis in good nick, just the smallest of holes on the right arm from when he binned his KTM.

A quick Google showed me that they are awful expensive, anyone know about them?

get your old gear repaired !! I just paid £30 to have three zips replaced in my Revit trousers..... cheaper than new and you get to keep old comfy gear.
drop me a mail if you want to number of the bloke i used, he is in Poole, but most leather repair places will do the repairs.

and as for Rukka, top gear i have lived in my Rukka jacket (could not get on with the trousers the waist was to high for me)
