gloves

can anyone give me a bit info on exo heated gloves. am thinking of buying a pair but at £125 a shot i dont want to waste that much money. i ride my xrv all year round but this year has been extremely cold. and theres more on the way. are heated grips just as good as heated gloves. thanks kevsky.

I have read reviews that heated gloves do perform better than heated grips but at about £80-£90 more expensive i'm not so sure how much more the glove outperforms the grip.

I would suggest something like the oxford hot grips as with these you don't have to mess about taking the old grip off as they simply wrap round. I use these and find the heat is enough to warm the hands on a cold day, i suffer quite bad from cold hands and was considering getting heated gloves but i just can't justify the expense, not to mention the messing about with wires up the sleeves etc.

If you have never used heated grips then trust me once you do you will wonder how you ever did without them, lol...

p.s. on a side note, if you are looking at heated gear then M&P are doing the gerbing heated jacket liner reduced from £149 to £83, i'm thinking of getting one myself

I used it a couple of months ago but it has been around for years now so I suppose it was due for a change. I'm sure a quick search of the internerd would turn up a replacement.

Scuppered again...

The ones for £83 only go up to XL and according to Gerbings sizing chart that is 45-48 inch chest. They do a XXL which is 49-52 inch chest but there is no XXL option.

A cheaper option would be one of these, I've ordered one it should be here today or sat I'll let you know how it fairs up €29 sits in the back protector pocket or as mine will be a pocket sewn into the liner jacket


As for the glove issue any thing and everything will have a use by date value for money would be a set of muffs and good winter gloves possibly backed with heated grips
